I had a meeting today in Scottsdale so I decided to swing by AJ’s after my meeting and get some email, iced tea and post some updates. I posted a MeToday, Snapped a picture of my workspace, wrote this post and nearly drowned in a sea of bleached blond hair, implants and injections of all sorts, expensive perfume and and uncountable slew of “fabulous” froof. Seriously though, I think there must have been some sort of froof convention going on near AJ’s today. In the last 10 minutes, I have seen more “plastic people” walk by than I care to count. I’m totally not a judgmental freak or anything, I just couldn’t believe some of these people and their “over-alterations”. All I can say is “WOW!” Anyway, I got a lot of work done, caught you all up on my shenanigans and now I’m off to my next meeting. Catch ‘ya next time.
I decided to stop by Jolta Java today since it’s basically right across the street form my office. Nice place, great food and free WiFi. All that makes for a perfect hangout for me to work. Here’s a pic of my office for today. Link
I work all over the place. Coffee shops, the local library, my house, the office, a friend’s place, client sites, etc… I thought it might be cool to pop up a picture of where I’m working at every once in a while. Today, I stayed home and worked in my home office. Honestly, I don’t get to do that much, so it was fun to hang out in the place where I am most comfortable. I tend to get more work done here than other places, but for some reason, I don’t get to work from home that often, bummer. Anyway, here’s a shot I snapped backed up from my desk. I should have shot the other direction so you could see the massive mess in the other three corners of this room. For now, just take my word for it, this corner of the room is the only presentable corner, the others are filled with boxes, papers and huge nests of cords. I’ll get to organizing it all someday… I think.
