		<description>I don&#039;t know why it does this, never had the same problem with macbook air + samsung hd display. However I think just using the first method should be fine. When you say it &quot;isn&#039;recommended&quot; where do you get that from? when your computer disables the display it doesn&#039;t do magic, it just shuts of the power/signal. so you doing it is fine too.</description>
