In the age of the internet, paper phonebooks are dead. Luckily, there’s a digital solution available as an iPhone application – Yellow Pages Mobile and White Pages Mobile.

Yellow Pages Mobile is what it purports to be, a solution for looking up information of businesses. It utilizes the iPhone’s location features to generate search results in relation to your current location. In addition to finding businesses, the app has an events tab for viewing upcoming local events. You can even add events to a ‘My Plans’ tab.

The White Pages Mobile application is finding people ad businesses. It works as a typical search engine to find the most accurate results. It also has a built-in reverse phone lookup feature.

These two apps have become indispensable for me, especially the Yellow Pages program. They’ve been accurate with the results generated, and extremely easy to use. I don’t even bother googling a business anymore, I simply look it up via these two apps.
