Well… I might be countin’ my chickens before they’re hatched but Craig might have hit the nail right on the head. At first attempt, it seems that this issue I’m having might be related to my running installation of Sticky Windows. I love this app too but if it comes down to one or the other, Twitterrific is the easy winner. Sorry Sticky, until you two play nice, I’m gonna leave you off. I promise to check back after every update.

I sure hope this was the fix, I’m really excited to be using Twitterrific again.

Anyone else out there using both these apps?

Thanks for stopping by! I totally figured that was the issue and I feel for you guys. You have an outstandingly stellar application there and I literally sit in anticipation waiting for your next release. On first attempt the tips didn’t work as I don’t have any of that stuff going on but I’m gonna look more into it and if ‘m still stumped, you can count on that contact from me.

No problems here, other than Twitter’s sporadic downtimes.

I use Twitterrific with the menu bar icon disabled, and the dock icon enabled, if that makes any difference.

We’re working on a new release that should solve a lot of the problems that people are having with Leopard. Apple re-wrote a lot of the underlying networking frameworks for Leopard and it’s caused a lot of problems for a lot of developers (including ones working on Safari.)

As far as getting things working — disable anything in /Library/InputManagers (many of the Safari “plug-ins” will cause problems because of the networking changes.) Also, make sure you’re not running any Haxies — they could be causing the redraw problems you are reporting. Finally, turn off any networking proxies you might have running (e.g. Privoxy.)

I’ve had some trouble with Twitterific since switching to Leopard as well. Unfortunately I think that they are just not going to jive. I thought it was the only one having this issue. Sorry to hear this news.

I have no other idea’s. I’m not partially keen on the fact of the not-so-hefty $15 you have to pay, thats why i either use the web or snitter which both work just as well. Also i use moodblast. Sorry for your troubles, but i don’t know a fix.
