NetNewsWire (NNW), a very popular and useful app for Mac dropped it’s price today to absolutely free! NNW Author Brent Simmons said on his blog:

“I dream of being able to make it so you spend less time reading stuff you don’t care about—I want the important news to go right to the top.”

Now that’s the kind of attitude we need more of around the net!

Personally, I spend most of my time in Google Reader, but I do like NNW quite a bit. Especially when I’m away from a wifi signal. I keep it running all the time and completely love the interface. If you haven’t tried NNW yet, now would be a good time since it’s free. I strongly recommend it.

I had been using NNW Lite ever since I bought my Mac on the 26th of October :)

Now I can try out what I've been missing with the paid (!) version.
