Pimp me out on Twitter, Win an iTunes Gift Card
I’m in the mood to meet more friends on Twitter. So, I decided to make it a little more fun. Here’s how it works: Everyone who adds me or promotes my page somehow via Twitter today (November 19th, 2007 *see update below, we’re doing it again today - the 20th) will get dropped in to a random drawing for a $25 iTunes Gift Card. I’m more curious than anything as to how fast information can travel through Twitter and what-not. Call it a social media experiment or something. I have no idea what will happen, but… BRING IT ON! (haha)

Another tip: Use TwitterSearch to find the tweets if you can’t use “track”

On a side note; When do you think the iBAM t-shirts will be in stock? I am actually buying my first mac in December (24″ iMac) and wanted to order a shirt along with it and just noticed they were out of stock.
I totally need to reorder. PodCamp AZ cleaned me completely out. Maybe I’ll do another discounted pre-sale thing for Christmas.

Here’s what I did:
I left my iPhone on all day and tracked “iboughtamac” so I got everyone’s tweets. Then this morning I flicked at the list for about 5 minutes (up and down the entire length) then I gave it one final flick and stopped it with a poke. Dead center of my screen and under my finger was Justine’s tweet.
Immediately I thought to myself… “Man, everyone’s gonna think I rigged this” But then I thought: “Justine should be able to win stuff just like any of us.” So I let it stand just as it happened. I know it’s not a big deal, I just don’t want people thinking I play favorites. It honestly came up just as I described.
I had a lot of fun meeting people yesterday so take that and add in the (unnecessary) guilt I feel for people thinking I rigged the contest and you have my reasons for doing it again today. It’s all in good fun, but I do want you guys to feel that I have been fair.
So there… that’s my take.
