Like a surgeon…

I have been facelifting websites all this week. I mentioned PodCamp AZ in an earlier post and I just finished my wife’s birthday page the other day. I’m kinda proud of it, so I thought I’d link to it here. Swing by, take a look and come back to let me know what you think.

  • Good catch... Thank you!

    Hi Brent

Just letting you know the Amazon link wasn't enabled. The paypal one was. :)

  • Jason,

Thanks! Actually yes, I have been very successful in the past. So much so, I completely prefer this method over anything else. It seems that people are more likely to give and give more when it's this easy for them. Now, granted, my wife does have a lot of close friends and family, but the first time I did it, I was completely blown away by the response.

There are some that prefer to go the "old fashioned" route and get a gift. I don't discourage it at all, that's why I have the listed items at the bottom.

Yeah, we're expecting our first in January, thanks!

Very nicely done. This is an interesting concept, that of "pooling" funds from friends to allow your wife to get what she truly wants. Have you been with successful with this in the past? I know that some people don't like to contribute to a group gift, but prefer to give specific gifts that they feel the person would like, or maybe something that has a special meaning between the gift giver and recipient...

Saw the maternity items... you're expecting Very cool, my wife is just through her first trimester with our first. :)
