I was watching geekbrief #214 this morning and they showed an example of what they thought the new Imac should look like. I personally think it looks mega-cool (add your own adjective if necessary) and if I had the spare cash laying around I’d buy the 24″ model, Man it looks so awesome!! The black ring is somewhat different from what we’ve come to know from Apple design-wise, but is not a bother to me. I’m curious if anyone has had a chance to really put one through its paces. The new keyboard is as usual, a great Apple design. I wonder how it will hold up to everyday abuse?

If you’re a graphic designer wanna be like me, and have been living under a rock the past few months and have not heard about Pixelmator. It was announced today that it’s being released in Beta, but only to a select few, lucky dogs. They used to have a demo video of it being used and from what I saw, it’s everything that I’ve been looking for in a graphic/design package. The user interface is very cool too.

This is a departure from what you normally see in IBAM, but if you get a chance head over to revision3, and check out The Totally Rad Show. They’ve obviously invested allot of time and energy into their production. It is really well done. If you’re into movies, comics or games I would highly recommend it.

Oh before I forget, if you’re in the market for an Ipod Nano, you can get a refurbed 2Gig version for 99 bucks from Apple. I don’t have an Ipod yet, I may have to get one myself.
