Did you know? Tab through Exposé

Did you know that you can tab through your windows in Exposé? Just hit F9 to envoke Exposé for all open windows, then hit ‘tab’ and voila! Just another way the OS X makes your life easier!

Just so you know, not everyone uses f9 to activate expose all windows..

Good point! yeah, come to think of it, I don’t use F9 either. Actually, I use another one of Shaun’s tricks for Exposé. I have it mapped to the upper right corner of my screen (located in “System Prefs / Dashboard & Exposé”) … so when I shoot my mouse to that corner, I get Exposé without needing a keystroke at all. Then the Tab trick really does come in handy. All in all, both have really proven very useful.

THANK YOU! i was using the mouse to activate Expose – but F9 is so much easier, and I didn’t know about tabbing through them either.

    MOST helpful, thanks :)

I don’t know if this is relevant or not but it seams appropriate in this post. Did you know that you don’t need to hit F9 or Exposé to cycle through windows or apps. Just pres apple key and use tab to cycle through apps. once the app is on press apple key and use the to cycle through windows (it does not work with safary tabs) forward.

    ****Correction****
For some reason the post doesn’t accept some types of unicode. So the keys mentioned once on the apps, are the less then and plus then sign.
