Lists of Essential Apps

As if the “Essential Apps” category tag doesn’t cover what this post is about at all… Anyway, In hunting through my newsfeeds this morning, I came across a couple posts about OS X apps (some new, some old). I thought to myself, These are perfect little resources for IBAM”. It started me off on one of my many tangent trips through the internet looking for more juicy tidbits. Two hours later, I surface to realize I had found a lot of useful information (and quite a lot of distracting stuff), so I just had to share it all with our readers. Some posts may have duplicates, but the lists are really good. In fact, Jake’s post ended up at number one on Digg this weekend (Congrats Jake – how’s that bandwidth bill?).

So… I hope you find it as informative and distracting as I did. There’s a lot of really good stuff out there, we hope to help you find it (if I can ever stop playing with some of them).

I haven’t tested all of these apps by any means, but a lot of them, I do use. We will review them here on iBoughtaMac as we can, so stay in touch. Thanks to all who compiled these lists! If you know of one not on the lists or have used one on the list that we haven’t reviewed, please feel free to add your thoughts via the comments below.

I think you’ve just about got it covered up there, but this:
